A 4x4 adventure and the amazing Pink Lakes | Le Grand Scenic Flight

Part 1:

Le Grand Half-Day 4x4 Adventure

Duration: 3.5-4 hours

This tour includes up to 50kms of 4WD beach driving along Le Grand Beach, en route to morning tea on the world-class beach of Lucky Bay with a chance to meet the Beach Kangaroos!

Along the way the tour will venture into an impressive sand dune system, with an ascent of the biggest dunes in our specialised “Sand Rover” Tour Vehicle for sweeping views of the Esperance Bay.

Once in Cape Le Grand National Park, discover the unique landscape of sweeping heath-lands, rugged coastal peaks and sandy beaches, which have been tested as the whitest in Australia. This tour can be tailored to be as leisurely or action-packed as you wish and can include swimming, so pack your bathers!

On the way home, if conditions allow, you will have the chance to experience a steep ascent of the monolithic Wylie Rock in the “Sand Rover” for expansive views from above of the whole tour route!

Tour Esperance provides morning tea and covers the cost of National Park fees.

Tours include transport to and from your Esperance Accommodation, with pickups around 8am, although we may adjust tour times to suit ocean tides.

*Subject to tides, the tour may have to travel one direction to Cape Le Grand via the road.

Part 2:

Discover Scenery like no other with this 60 minute Scenic Flight over some of Australia's most beautiful coastline and unique lake systems.

The spectacular scenery of the Esperance Region on this Scenic Flight will leave you breathless and you fly over the snow-white beaches of Cape Le Grand National Park. Home to almost 200 individual Pink Lakes, the Esperance Region is a kaleidoscope of colours. While not all of these lakes have names, and some are better known than others, you will see a great collection including the Pink and Rainbow Lakes, a group of over two-dozen Pink and Multi-coloured lakes clustered together.

The Pink Lakes of the region do vary in number and vibrancy throughout the year, with the best viewing season between June and January, although you will see pink lakes through the rest of the year, you may not see quite as many.

The ONLY WAY to see these beautiful Lakes is on our flights, as they are on PRIVATE PROPERTY, so cannot be reached by land.
